Art Exhibit

Now til May 11th!

CMU Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art-- "The Feminine Mystique in Mid-Missouri, Part Two: Paintings by Claudia Graham and Linda Hoover"

The gallery is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m., and there is no charge to visit.

Saving Local History

The Hickman House, a two-story brick house located in Howard County on the grounds of the Horticulture and Agrofestry Research Center, in New Franklin, is soon to be restored, thanks to a $500,000 grant recently approved by the Federal government. Built by Thomas Hickman, a settler from Virginia, in 1819, the house is one of the oldest buildings still standing in the Mid-Missouri area.

Water & Wastewater

The Fayette City Council recently formed an ad hoc committee in November to address concerns about the City's water and wastewater systems. To read the preliminary results of their findings, click HERE.
